The National Jamboree for the Scouts BSA (Boy Scouts of America) was held after a 6 year hiatus at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in Mt. Hope, West Virginia from July 19 - July 28 2023. Although smaller than previous jamborees, it was an awesome experience and makes me very hopeful for future jamborees, and all of scouting. This phenomenal patch set was created by the Concilio De Puerto Rico (aka the Puerto Rico Council Included in this set are 4 JSPs (Jamboree Council Shoulder Patches) a Center Piece the shape of the Island of Puerto Rico, a participant round patch, and the VERY RARE Lodge # 506 Yakahu 2 piece Order of the Arrow Flap set.All of these patches honor the 500th Anniversary of the Capital of Puerto Rico, San Juan, established 1521 (but with the cancelled jamboree in 2021, this was the time for their Quincentenary Celebration )The center patch is the shape of the Island of Puerto Rico. Each of the 4 JSPs show a different highlight of the capital city of San Juan. 1. Fuerte San Felipe del Morro (El Morro). 2. Castillo de San Cristóbal (Fort San Cristóbal)3. Old San Juan4. ?
